Ashley's Latest works 'Reflection of the Coast'
Reflections of the Coat is an exploration of the history of our coast. Including iconic places. Being with a collection of photos which is the basis of New and forthcoming works. The aim is to bring together a range of Images in paint and print and then to exhibit in a sympathetic space. Stay tuned for more info on this.

Drawing is especially important to his work practice. Believing that the ability to draw is fundamentally important for any artist. The Art of mark making as it is called in academic arenas is encouraged and forms the foundation to his tutorials and workshops.

You Can find the studio at Artificer 37 Leslie Street Blairgowrie. It is a shared space where Weever and designer Ashleigh Slater also works producing tweed and cloth on hand looms. Here Craft design meets fine Art. Artist and weever complement each other and have joined in their vision in ' Artificer '. The pair are available to demonstrate and talk about their individual practice.
